Our Future Apprentice of the Year will be someone who is innovative, bold and trusted. They’ll be curious about how things work, confident enough to share their ideas and willing to try new approaches to solve problems.

We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to challenge themselves, take on new opportunities and learn from their experiences. They’ll be open to different ideas, enjoy working with others and understand the importance of building trust with the people around them.

Everyone is different, but it’s the way we work together, share ideas and support each other that helps us achieve great things. Our winner will bring their own perspective, while being ready to listen, collaborate and make a positive contribution.

Remember, please make sure you allow enough time to complete the whole application before the deadline.

If you’re successful in progressing to the next stage, we’ll be in touch with details of what happens next.

Assessment

If you successfully pass the initial application and screening stage, your application will be reviewed by BAE Systems.

From there, you could be invited to take part in networking, interviews, an assessment centre or other activities designed to help you showcase your skills and get to know BAE Systems.

Full details will be given to successful students.

The final shortlisted students will be invited to join us at the Undergraduate of the Year Awards ceremony on 9 April 2027, where we’ll celebrate their achievements and reveal the winner of each award.
